Committed to your success!
As you
know, the world of search engines is changing rapidly. Many no
longer accept individual submissions, relying instead on their
own robots to identify web sites. Other search engines use
pay-per-click models or pool content with other search
engines. Strategies for indexing seem to change from day to
day and competition for top positions in search engine results
has never been greater…or more confusing!
It's hard to
keep up with these changes and understand how they might
affect YOUR search engine rankings, and therefore your
business.
With our long
years of experience with literally thousands of websites
representing scores of different types of businesses, we think
we've developed a better approach to website marketing which
addresses these issues and provides an innovative and
affordable way to help you make sense of the website marketing
game.
Called The Website
Management Program, it allows us to develop and
implement a plan with you for improving how your site
interacts with search engines, so that the audience you seek
can find you.
Overview:
We have determined that the best approach is a
long-term effort, which should include:
- Ongoing analysis of search engine positions.
- Ongoing review of site content.
- Regular submission to search engines.
Here's how it works:
First, you are
assigned a Client Services manager who will assist you in web
site marketing. Your manager will check the current search
engine position of your key words to provide a baseline for
measuring future growth. Your Client Services Manager will
then:
- Analyze your web site, making sure your business
terms are translated into content which will be presented
appropriately for search engines.
- Examine your site structure and design to make
sure there are no obstacles to effective search engine
indexing. Many very attractive web sites are not designed to
achieve maximum benefit from search engine indexing, and
your account manager will know what works and what doesn't.
- Spider your site for "robot.txt" files. These
files are designed to prohibit the indexing of web sites. An
incorrectly placed or configured "robot.txt" file will
prevent your web site from getting indexed. We'll let you
know if we find any.
- Index your entire site, compiling a list of every
web page on your site (except those prohibited by
"robot.txt").
- Post every web page individually to the search
engines.
- Track your web site position each month,
reporting the progress to you.
- Additionally, your Client Services Manager can
also implement pay-per-click
campaigns and other marketing programs designed
to increase relevant web site traffic.
